John Wuchte has been an actor/director/producer for more than 25 years. Moving to NYC at 18, he attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. While being a bike messenger, answering service operator and apartment cleaner, he began pursuing his career. In 1990 he met up with RAKKA-THAMM!!! Theater Co. and spent he next 10 years helping run this successful Off-Off Broadway company. Most notably, writing/directing original adaptations of Greek tragedies which performed each summer outside in Washington Square Park.
In 2000, he moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of film/TV work but within months was helping run the multiple award-winning Sacred Fools Theater Company. He has been a member for more almost 20 years. His new venture is Tribal Acting. A percussive-based movement style of acting developed in NYC. Check out www.TribalActing.com for more information.
